I'm doing this today because I shall be absent on Sunday and I got 9 books today so why not! Two of these books are Advanced Readers Copies and the rest came in a big book from Barnes & Nobles.
----------------------
Graceling: I've already read this book but I had borrowed it. The opportunity rose and GRABBED IT (metaphorically because I ordered it online). Graceling is an amazing read that I absolutely loved. Expect this as the next review!

The Clearing: This book sounds amazing. Amy lives in her Aunt's house and she meets Henry in the back forest. He's unlike anyone she's ever met, and why? Because he and his family are stuck in the past, 1977 to be exact. Amy's crossing over to Henry's side brings him more happiness than he's ever known--but her presence also threatens to destroy his safe existence. Awesome!

Tyger Tyger: OK summary: Teagan Wylltson's best friend, Abby, dreams that horrifying creatures--goblins, shape-shifters, and beings of unearthly beauty but terrible cruelty--are hunting Teagan. But she doesn't believe it. Her life isn't in danger. In fact, it's perfect. She's on track for a college scholarship. She has a great job. No boys, no heartaches, no problems.
Until Finn Mac Cumhaill arrives. Finn's a bit on the unearthly beautiful side himself. He has a killer accent and a knee-weakening smile. And either he's crazy or he's been haunting Abby's dreams, because he's talking about goblins, too . . . and about being The Mac Cumhaill, born to fight all goblin-kind. Finn knows a thing or two about fighting. Which is a very good thing, because this time, Abby's right. The goblins are coming. This is an Advanced Readers Copy *squeel*

The Iron Daughter: This. Is. Amazing. This is the sequel to Iron King. It's an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) and it's amazing. I couldn't find a picture for it so I put The Iron King picture. I am sooooooooooo fan-girly scream about this one. Hehe. Look out for it August 1st. I'll do a COMPLETELY non-spoiler review ;)
h
Two-Way Street: OK, a girl goes on a road-trip with her ex who dumped her for a girl he met on My space. That just screams secrets and funny and romance :) Which makes me happy!
h
Thief Eyes: I had liked Bones of Faerie but I didn't have enough romance for my liking, but this one has plenty ;) After her mother mysteriously disappears, sixteen year old Haley convinces her father to take her to Iceland, where her mother was last seen. there, amidst the ancient fissures and crevices of that volcanic island, Haley picks up a silver coin that entangles her in a spell cast by her ancestor Hallgerd, a beautiful sorceress intent on stealing another's life to escape her own. To break the spell, Haley sets off on an epic adventure with gorgeous Ari (hehehe), a boy with a dangerous side who appoints himself her protector. They soon learn that Hallgerd's spell and Haley's mother's disappearance are connected in a chain of events that could unleash terrifying powers and consume the world. Haley must find a way to contain the growing fires of the spells--and her growing attraction towards Ari. Expect a review when I'm done!
h
Princess of the Midnight Ball: OK, I LOVED the twelve dancing princesses faery tale so reading a re-telling makes me sooooooo happy :) Review coming up!
h
The Thief: This is by Megan Whalen Turner, nuff' said. And everyone says they loved it. So *smile*
h
The Boyfriend List: Sounded cute. Fifteen-year-old Ruby Oliver has had a rough ten days, In the past ten days she:
- lost her boyfriend (#13 on the list)
- lost her best friend (Kim)
- lost all her other friends (Nora, Cricket)
- Did something suspicious with a boy (#10)
- Did something advanced with a boy (#15)
- had an argument with a boy (#14)
- had a panic attack (scary)
- lost a lacrosse game (she's the goalie)
- failed a math test (she'll make it up)
- hurt Meghan's feelings (even though they weren't really friends)
- Became a social outcast (no one to sit with at lunch)
- Had graffiti written about her in the girls' bathroom (who knows what's on the boys!)
Happy reading!
